As the oldest of 6, I grew up caring for my younger siblings, and then later went on to begin babysitting kids in the neighborhood, starting at 12 years-old. I continued to babysit and pick up nannying gigs (ages ranging from 8mo-12yrs), until I went into the food industry and housekeeping the last few years. I have been in childcare my entire life. I moved to NYC to be a nanny after high school and have has multiple nanny jobs. I also have taken care of children in my home while being a stay at home mom. I own a disc golf course. My children are all teenagers and in high school now and I miss being around and taking care of younger kids. I would say that infants and toddlers are my favorite but I also really enjoy all of the younger ages.
