I have worked with Children and their parents in Public School Education for the past 15 years. I have recently retired from my full time position in public education and look forward to providing childcare and/or caregiving/companionship to seniors. I love spending time with children and older adults doing arts & craft projects, reading books, playing games as well as keeping children and seniors physically active with exercise and finding ways to make chores fun. Most of my child care philosophy comes from "Parenting with Love and Logic". I am married to a very talented professional jazz musician who also teaches private music lessons to all ages on keyboard, sax, flute and clarinet. I am proud to have successfully raised 3 wonderful daughters and recently became a grandma to my first granddaughter. I have completed the requirements for Certification in Adult and Pediatric First Aid and CPR and have a Certificate in Dementia Care.
