I've always enjoyed spending time with children, which is why I choose to be in the child care field. I have a certification in Child Development as well as an associates degree in Child Care Professionals. I worked at two highly rated child care centers for a combined total of three years . There I enjoyed working with a diverse group of children ages 0 to 8. I planned developmentally appropriate activities, lead group times, and provided emotional support to the children. For the past couple of years I've enjoyed being a nanny. My nannying responsibilities have included taking children on local trips, planning activities, preparing meals, and assisting with cleaning. I value and respect each child I've had the pleasure of working with. I use the knowledge I've accumulated to engage in developmentally appropriate practices that help create a safe and caring environment for young children to grow.
