I’m a recently retired communication consultant with two grown children. My husband and I grew up in Ann Arbor, left for Boston in our early 20s and 40 years later came back to Ann Arbor. We love it! I have been taking care of young children ever since. For one family, I picked up their 4-year old daughter from pre-school and we “hung out” for a few hours. I worked with another family getting their three children up and to school, starting at 6 a.m. I have a special little boy who I’ve watched on Fridays for the past two years. And, I watched a three-month old girl for an interim period before her family could get her into daycare. She was adorable! I’m a big proponent of active play, reading (I have my own children’s library and bring books and games with me—my magic bag). And I’m an avid Read more walker/hiker, so going outside is a pleasure and priority. I have also done light housework for the families, when needed. I can provide two references, have a well-maintained CRV and one car seat of my own. I hope this gives you an idea of who I am and my qualifications.
