Hello! My name is Maria and I am a registered nurse at Troy Beaumont hospital. I graduated from Oakland University in April of 2017. Growing up with a single mom who owned (and still owns) her own daycare/preschool business, I have had a lot of experience with child care. There were many summers I worked with her and her kids, and I still occasionally step in if she needs assistance or a few hours off. I have grown up around infants and children my entire life, and I have even been the go-to babysitter for many friends, family members, and neighbors throughout the years. Since I am a registered nurse, I am medically trained in CPR and first aid for infants and children. Along with my CPR/BLS certification, I also have my ACLS certification. I also love animals and have babysat at many different homes with many different pets (dogs, Read more cats, fish, birds, rabbits). I love the joy and challenges that childcare bring and would love to work with children during times I am not working at the hospital. I have worked with many children and infants throughout my life, my schooling, and my career and can confidently say your child (or children) are safe with me!
