Hello, my name is Dawn. I am 56 years young, married & a homemaker. I have a successful, 23 year old son & a wonderful husband. I have been babysitting children of all ages since I was 14 years old, from infants to pretweens, in addition to the experience of raising my own child full time. When he was old enough, neighboring & school friends would come over to our house, at which point I would then become the official babysitter for them. For the last 1-1/2 years, I have been babysitting a beautiful, intelligent 10 y/o girl, M-F every morning before school. I then drop her off at school & wait to make sure she is safely inside before I leave. Previous to this job, I was simultaneously a part time nanny to an adorable 16 month old little boy 2 days a week for 2 years, as well as a part time nanny 2 other week days to a sweet 3 y/o little guy & his 1 y/o adorable baby sister for 6 months. I love all my kids, and treat them as if they were my own. It always amazes me how little it takes to put a lot of joy in a child's day. I can provide that, as well as so much more. Every smile a child gives me puts joy in MY day. I took a baby care class at Bronson which included choking, bed, house & car safety. I am CPR & First Aid certified. I am loving, caring, reliable, patient, honest & trustworthy. I will follow your every instruction to the letter. I will help you in any way I can if the opportunity arises or your little one is napping. I never take my eyes off of my kids. Even when they are napping, I check on them regularly to make sure they are safe. I would be honored, if given the opportunity to care for your little one. I am vigilant, loving & respectful. I am planning on attending Kalamazoo valley community college in the fall to study early elementary education. I love kids. I am currently in school to be a RN, mostly neonatal and geriatrics. I would love to have more experience with babysitting. When I was a little younger I would always babysit my younger siblings and cousins. I believe that is why I love kids so much now. I still babysit them now. I pick them up from school and always ask them “What do you guys want to eat today?” And of course their answer is always McDonald’s. I always give them an extra fruit of veggie or their choice.

I am a recent highschool graduate and am graduating Kellogg Community College this spring with my associates in science (by being in the early college program). I plan to keep going to school after and plan on becoming a pediatric doctor. I have four years of child sitting experience, with ages three months to 12 years old. I also have my first aid and CPR certifications. I have experience with scheduled nannying with twin boys and I have a lot of experience with periodic sitting for all ages. I always like to leave a place cleaner than you left it (dishes in the sink, laundry in the wash, etc). I also have experience tutoring and love to help with homework.
