Hello, my name is Dawn. I am 57 years young, married & a homemaker. I have a successful, 25 year old son & a wonderful husband. I have been babysitting children of all ages since I was 14 years old, from infants to pretweens, in addition to the experience of raising my own child full time. When he was old enough, neighboring & school friends would come over to our house, at which point I would then become the official babysitter for them. In June, I completed a 2-1/2 year job, babysitting a beautiful, intelligent 9 y/o girl, (now 12) M-F every morning before school. I then dropped her off at school & waited to make sure she was safely inside before I left. I simultaneously started a new job for a precious 3 month old girl. Her mom was hesitant to hire anyone, regardless that she worked from home. I am now the only care giver she will allow. Prior to these jobs, I was a part time nanny to an adorable 16 month old boy, 2+ days a week for 2 years. I was also a part time nanny 2 other week days to a 3 yr old little guy & his 1 yr old baby sister for 6 months. I love all my kids, and treat them as if they were my own. It takes very little to make a child smile. However, my mission is to make both children & parents feel loved, safe & extremely happy. I took a baby care class at Bronson which included choking, bed, house & car safety. I am CPR & First Aid certified. I am loving, caring, reliable, patient, honest & trustworthy. I will follow your every instruction to the letter. I will help you in any way I can if the opportunity arises when your little one is napping. I never take my eyes off of my kids. Even when they are napping, I check on them regularly to make sure they are safe. I would be honored, if given the opportunity, to care for your little one(s). I am vigilant, loving & respectful. You can rest assured they will be left in the most diligent, reliable, and caring hands possible. I exemplify manners & respect. I will guide & encourage him or her through their next steps in the growth process, whatever those may be. Last but not least, my own rules: NO electronics on kid time! I am not on social media of any kind. No one texts me on a regular basis. No visitors! Never answer the door & doors always locked! I will always have my phone close by in case you call me or I need to call you or in case of emergency. Thank you for your consideration. I wish you the best of luck in your search! Respectfully, Dawn JH

Hi! My name is Brooklyn Pryor, and I’m 22 years old! I’ve always loved working with kids, and growing up with younger siblings made caring for children feel very natural to me. I’ve babysat for four different families and truly enjoy getting to know each child and creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment for them. During my last two years of high school, I attended the Calhoun County Career Center through the Education Academy program. As part of the program, I worked as a teacher’s aide at four different elementary schools throughout Calhoun County, gaining hands-on experience working with students in grades K–5. I am also CPR & First Aid Certified! For the past two years, I’ve been working as a Licensed Esthetician at Design Studio East. As things begin to slow down at my full-time job, I’m looking to take on babysitting in the mornings before I head into work. Im available M-F 7:00am-12:00pm but my schedule is somewhat flexible, so I’m happy to discuss other times if needed!! A little about me: I love kids, traveling, animals, crocheting, nature walks, cooking, and baking! I’d love the opportunity to become someone your family feels comfortable and confident leaving their little ones with.☺️ If it’s easier, feel free to message me directly at 269-832-3532 with any questions or to set up a time to meet!!

I’m almost 19 and currently a college student at KVCC studying Early Elementary Education. Over the next couple of years, I’m working toward becoming a certified Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula, and I’m looking to continue building my newborn experience and documented hours. I have over 5 years of experience babysitting infants and newborns, including caring for babies as young as 2 weeks old. I’m happy to provide references from families I’ve worked with! In addition to nannying and babysitting, I have 4.5 years of consistent experience volunteering in the infant room at Radiant Church. I’m well educated and experienced in safe sleep practices, feeding support, soothing techniques, recognizing baby cues, and understanding wake windows.

I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy spending time with children, helping them learn, grow, and have fun in a safe environment. Every child has a unique personality, and it’s rewarding to build connections with them and see their confidence and creativity develop. I find joy in creating engaging activities and making sure kids feel cared for and supported. I have experience working as a camp counselor, where I was responsible for supervising and engaging up to five children at a time, ranging from ages 2 to 14. In this role, I organized activities, ensured safety, and provided guidance tailored to each age group. This experience taught me how to manage different personalities and needs, keep children entertained, and maintain a positive and safe environment. I am CPR and First Aid certified, which means I am trained to handle emergency situations and provide immediate care if needed. I have strong skills in communication, patience, problem-solving, and multitasking. My background as a camp counselor gave me valuable skills in activity planning, behavior management, and conflict resolution, all while fostering a fun and nurturing atmosphere for children.

Caring for children and supporting families through reliable, high-quality care is my main goal. With two years of experience, I have developed a patient, calm, and creative approach to supporting children aged one to 12. I also worked at Jumpstart childcare for 5 months, and have worked at kindercare for a little over 8 months now. I also have tons of babysitting experience! My background includes Early Child Development coursework, which informs how I engage with your little ones. I hold CPR Training and First Aid Training certifications to ensure a safe environment. I can enjoy playing outside, educational games, and puzzles/other things to keep children active and curious. I am very comfortable enforcing your household rules and am happy to assist with light housekeeping or crafts. I prioritize clear communication, providing regular updates via text or phone calls to keep you informed. I truly look forward to becoming a positive, supportive presence in your family's daily life.

Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy helping children learn, grow, and feel supported. I love creating fun, engaging days where children can learn through play, creativity, reading, outdoor activities, and everyday experiences. What skills and training do you have? I am CPR and First Aid certified and have training and hands-on experience in early childhood education and development. I am comfortable with infants and toddlers, diapering, feeding, naps, potty training, children's routines, developmental activities, and managing multiple children.
