Meet Josephine

Being a college basketball player I am used to high energy, and sometimes even chaotic environments. I have learned to adapt to these challenges. Before college and during the summers I typically care for an 11 year old, a 6 year old and a 1 year old. We often have games nights, craft nights and movie nights. The older 2 are in school so they often have homework, the oldest is overall independent with his work but the 6 year old needs motivation. So I have had to learn creative ways to keep her engaged. She is currently reading me Harry Potter. With this being said I think the most important thing when caring for children and knowing their individual needs as not every child finds happiness in the same things. Not only have I cared for these children I have also coached countless kids ages k-8th basketball over the Read more years. I am also going into the health field and am studying exercise science which includes courses on how to care and prevent injuries. All these experiences I have had really set me apart from other sitters.
