I have experience with children of all ages, though I am especially fond of babies and toddlers. I was a full time nanny in Chicago for two years after graduating college. The two children were four months and 16 months when I started. When I left Chicago, I moved to Tenessee and worked at a daycare center with babies 2 - 6 months. I have plenty of experience occasionally babysitting school aged children as well -- I had a couple families I would babysit every week while I was still in school. A couple years ago I moved to Michigan (where I have decided to stay put!) and worked at a daycare with children 18 months - 3 yrs for a few more months before finding my current job. Because I have worked at daycares, I have had professional training in CPR, safe infant sleep, as well safe and hygienic Read more feeding and diapering of infants. I also have experience with diabetes and food allergies (epi-pen training). Now I work for a third party logistics company, but I would like to babysit on the side. I really enjoy spending time with children! I prefer playtime or art projects -- I would prefer not to turn on your television (I personally do not watch t.v.). I am also willing to care for your pets and fix meals while sitting.
