I have several years of experience working with kids with 5 years as a babysitter, 1 year as a teaching assistant, and 1 year working at an in-home daycare. In my current job, I work closely with kids/families and am well educated on practices of safe sleep, first aid, and CPR. I’m 52 years old ran a daycare for 11 years. I was a firefighter emt for James twp. I currently take care of a 4,7 & 12 year old occasionally. Parents are Drs. I clean, do laundry and feed the children. I have 2 dogs and a cat. I’m a widower. My husband of 23 years passed away in 2019. I have two girls and 2 boys ages 23,28,29 & 32. And one grandson who is 7. I’m into sports and I like the outdoors.

I only have 1 child but my husband makes good money so I don’t need to be babysitting. I just really love kids, my child is 18 months old and he loves socializing and I feel like he doesn’t get enough. I’ve also seen so many terrible things about what happens to children at daycares and I just want to help any parent so they don’t feel the need to put their child in a day care. I’d prefer babies and toddlers because they are the furthest experience I’ve had and my child would get along more so with them.
