I have several years of experience working with kids with 5 years as a babysitter, 1 year as a teaching assistant, and 1 year working at an in-home daycare. In my current job, I work closely with kids/families and am well educated on practices of safe sleep, first aid, and CPR. I’m certified through the state and have all of my CPR/First aid. I just recently stopped working at a daycare/preschool. I was a head teacher in the preschool room. I only have 1 child but my husband makes good money so I don’t need to be babysitting. I just really love kids, my child is 18 months old and he loves socializing and I feel like he doesn’t get enough. I’ve also seen so many terrible things about what happens to children at daycares and I just want to help any parent so they don’t feel the need to put their child in a day care. I’d prefer babies and toddlers because they are the furthest experience I’ve had and my child would get along more so with them.
