Hello! My name is Kathryn, I am the third oldest of ten siblings, having a sister with Down Syndrome who has been my farm buddy for over 18 years. I grew up on a midsized hobby farm, raising horses, goats, chickens, turkeys, cattle, multiple outdoor cats, and three dogs. I have always had a passion and drive to help others, and began my career of helping my community as an EMT in 2012. From there I worked as a paramedic, then worked as a direct care worker for developmentally challenged young adults; where I would teach and assist with daily tasks to assist in learning independence. I still hold an active license for paramedic in Michigan, love anything medical related, and am certified in CPR; having over 7 years experience in EMS. I love almost all animals, just not snakes & spiders, and enjoy working with and training dogs; cats Read more are cool too :) I enjoy games and being a child at heart, taking time to notice things in the moment, and understand that too rigid of a schedule can make for a sour day. Children are often spontaneous, but rely on routines and consistency to blossom and grow not only emotionally, but also mentally.
