I enjoy working with kids even though I am new to Child Care although it gives me experiences for the career I want to pursue. I am CPR certified/First Aid, bilingual in Spanish etc. In my senior year of high school I took a class to help a teacher out and see what it looks like behind a teacher's lens. I coached rec gymnastics for ages 3-10 and enjoyed working and see the kids improve. I am really excited to bring my passion out and hopefully build connections with kids. Wanting to gain experience but also supporting your families needs :)!

I’m a 19-year-old sophomore at Michigan State University with several years of experience working with children. Since the age of 15, I’ve cared for kids through babysitting (ages 2–9), assisted in dance classes for young children (ages 2–8), and worked as a summer camp counselor supporting kids ages 5–12. These experiences have given me strong skills in responsibility, creativity, and communication while allowing me to do something I truly enjoy!

I am getting my bachelor's degree in psychology and want to go into child psychology as well. After working consistently with one family for around 5 months, I always feel great, and I do well with their child! However, the family only needs me part-time, and I like to keep busy.

In terms of experience, I’ve babysat for several families over the years, caring for children ranging from toddlers to preteens. I’ve been responsible for a variety of tasks, from preparing meals and snacks, helping with homework, organizing activities, and ensuring bedtime routines are followed. I’ve also worked with kids who have special needs, which has helped me develop more patience and flexibility in my approach to childcare. As for skills and training, I’ve completed basic first aid and CPR courses, and CNA COURSE which I believe is essential when caring for children. I’m also trained in recognizing signs of distress or discomfort in children, which helps me stay calm and respond appropriately in any situation. Beyond that, I have strong communication skills

I am a graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality and Tourism Management. I have always considered myself a self starter, and enjoy using my degree in a variety of ways. While in college, I was a housekeeper at a hotel, a server at a restaurant and an event planner. I recently was an au pair in Spain for a one-year- old and three-year-old. They helped me learn Spanish and in turn became like family. My highschool years were spent as a lifeguard and children’s swim instructor and coach. I enjoy being active and nurturing growth and development.
