I enjoy working with kid, I’ve been working at a before and after care for an elementary school. I am somewhat new to Child Care although it gives me experiences for the career I want to pursue. I am CPR certified/First Aid, bilingual in Spanish etc. In my senior year of high school I took a class to help a teacher out and see what it looks like behind a teacher's lens. I coached rec gymnastics for ages 3-10 and enjoyed working and see the kids improve. I am really excited to bring my passion out and hopefully build connections with kids. I've been working with infants-12 year olds for 5 years now. I've worked at two child care locations, include Gretchen's House, as well as worked as a camp counselor for 3 years. The campers I had often formed such great relationships with me, that their parents would reach out and ask me to babysit outside of camp. Saline Rec Center Kid's Camp had children ages 5-12, so I love working with kids of all ages. I am also CPR and First Aid certified, and I've relearned my training for three years in a row now (to keep the information fresh in my brain).
