Please do not contact me offering an wage that you yourself could not live off of, this is my job, I live and eat off at my wage just like you do. I am a nanny and a training postpartum doula, I am CPR and first aid certified for infants, children and adults, I have over two years professional experience, I work hard at my job and I treat the kids and families I care for as if they were my own family. I take time on my free time to try to improve myself and how I work with each child with their physical, educational, emotional, and even playful needs as they age and I am constantly learning how to communicate needs and issues to each parent to keep them satisfied with their parenting, and my work. Its my goal every day I leave them feeling better then before Read more I came. I never take advantage of my employees so do not take advantage of me, this sounds terrible, but I have had people try to pay me as little a 15$ a day, for 50 hours a week of work, people who could care less who they leave their kid with. This is not me. I will not work for a family that does not feel the same way about the safety and care of their child as I do. Cameras, background checks, a contract, and first day with parents is a must. I currently am happy with the people I work with part time. I am always open to adding to my schedule if the people are right!
