Hi! My name is Megan and I am from Michigan but I am moving to NYC in very early May and I would love to work with you! I will only be there until end of August but I would love to work with your family for the summer! A little bit about me would be I started working with children at a very young age. At 12 years old I volunteered in the nursery at my church with ages 0-5 years old. After that, I began babysitting kids age 2 weeks-12 years old and I have been working with kids ever since. I have had experience taking care of families with 1 child all the way up to 6 children and I have experience with multiples as well. While in the nursery I learned how to properly take care of small infants which include changing a diaper and dressing Read more them, preparing a bottle and feeding them, comforting them, playing with them, and of course giving them lots of cuddles! While babysitting, I learned how to resolve conflicts, create fun and safe activities that involves everyone, and I became CPR and first-aid certified. Working with all types of families really opened up my eyes to all the different dynamics a house can have. Also while babysitting, I helped the parents out by doing light chores around the house, running errands as needed, and making meals for the kids. Also I plan to work with kids for the rest of my life as a pediatric audiologist so I am very passionate about them and I love to learn from them as I get to watch them grow!
