Hello, I am a college student, pursuing a career in Speech-Language Pathology. I want to work with children who need help with speech disorders. I have been working with children as a job since I was 16, but I have been volunteering with children even longer. My junior year of High School, one of my classes was in a in-school day care. I helped teach the children about colors and shapes. I have been a swim teacher with two different companies. One was at Annapolis High School, only during the summers. The other was the YMCA in Southgate. In 2012, I did an internship in New York City doing children's ministry. AS for babysitting, I have babysat for people I have met at church on occasion, I also babysat for a family with a foster child and another child twice a week through out the whole summer two years in Read more a row. I have volunteered as a Sunday school teacher, and I have watched the children of our visitors when my church has hosted a homeless shelter dinner.
