Hi there! I am a mom of two littles (1 and almost 5 yrs.) seeking some extra income (and community! 🙌🏼). I would love to add to our little tribe by caring for one or two more children either in our home or yours. We are a pretty unconventional and very minimal family as we’ve lived in an RV a couple of times now for a cumulative 2 yrs. We unschool, value time outdoors and facilitate a lot of real life skills. I cook and bake frequently and my 4.75 yr. helps with that. We value unstructured time to play and explore. My oldest enjoys painting, crafts, pretend play, rough physical play and gymnastics. Our 1 yr old is such a joy and is laid back. We love having her around! If you are familiar with The Continuum Concept, we are trying to live by a lot of those ideals Read more (Hunt, Gather, Parent might portray similar ways of living, but I have not read it yet). In more mainstream words, we parent gently and consciously, yet not child-centered; trying to let everyone live by their own choices and respect and accept who they are, while setting clear boundaries. We attend Forest School every Friday morning and do a hike with the same friends many Tuesday mornings. We may add in other unschool/homeschool events soon. Your child(ren) is/are welcome to join us for these events. We can be flexible. I am happy to facilitate any homeschooling rituals you already have in place and to prepare/provide healthy snacks and meals. I will gladly do light housekeeping in your home. We may not be able to do a lot of transportation to and from traditional school. We support freedom of choice around COVID-19 guidelines and are unvaccinated.
