I have two fun loving, awesome sons, one is 21 years old and he lives on his own, and one son is 16 years old. The 16 year old lives at home and he is active in his high school and pre-college program at U of M-Flint. I almost have an empty nest, so I am enjoying the last two years with my 16 year old before he is off to college. I have worked for DHS since 1997 as a youth specialist, caseworker, disability examiner and technician. I currently drive to Lansing during the weekdays for work. I have a ton of experience with children from raising my own children, and taking care of my nieces and nephews and from working as a youth specialist at the Genesee Valley Regional Center in Flint.
