Hello, my name is Laraba. I am a grandmother with 4 adult children. I have over 28 years of experience, taking care of children of all ages. I just moved to the Kentwood area to be closer to my daughter and grandbaby. I have worked as as school teacher (1994 - 2002) working with kids from daycare to high school. I worked as a live in nanny for a family in Bowie, MD with 2 special needs kids (ages 9, 7 and 6). My most recent family was located in Georgia and had three kids (ages 11-1). In between those jobs, I worked as a companion with comfort keepers, so I have experience taking care of other loved ones as well. I love kids and helping them both in educational and non educational settings. I like to play, be creative, tell stories, go with them outdoors and also correct kids with love. My hobbies are dancing, listening to music, reading and traveling.
