My name is Jennifer Hoogeveen. My husband John and I have been married for 22 years. We enjoy traveling and spontaneous adventures! We have three children. Our daughter is married and they are expecting their first baby, our son lives on his own and works locally and our youngest is a sophomore in high school and keeps himself busy in high adventure sports. I have been in the childcare profession for over 24 years. I started doing childcare in our home when our kids were young, switched to high profile nannying in 2014 and transitioned to high profile travel nanny in 2020. I am assisting my first birth as a doula soon and I am excited to come along side couples as they bring their babies into this world. I am also looking forward to expanding my clientele as an Advanced Newborn Care Specialist. I have my CDA(Child Development Associates)certification, I am a Certified Advanced Newborn Care Specialist, I am certified in Montessori Teaching: Fundamental Concepts and Principals, I am certified in Adult and Child CPR and Basic First Aid, I am certified in Water Safety for Parents and Caregivers and I am on track complete my Birth Doula Certification through DONA Doulas by the end of 2023. I have cared for many children and families over the years. From preemies to upper elementary, newborn quadruplets to children with medical needs. I love each child as my own and see them as a unique person. I enjoy being a part of each and every family and celebrate the milestones along the way. I believe we all deserve a blissful beginning.
