Hi! My name is Elizabeth, and I’m currently on a short break between ending medical school and before starting my Emergency Medicine residency this July. I’m looking to spend some of my free time helping local families with childcare while earning a little extra to offset those medical school loans. I’ve worked as an EMT since 2017, including in a high-volume emergency department in Northern California where I regularly cared for pediatric patients. I also completed multiple rotations at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in both the Pediatric ICU and Pediatric Emergency Department. I’m CPR/BLS and ACLS certified and very comfortable recognizing and responding to emergencies such as choking, injuries, allergic reactions, and other urgent situations. I am comfortable with medications as well as medically-complex children. My experience with children also consists of multiple years babysitting my young neighbors, and spending time with my many young nieces and nephews. I’m also comfortable with pets of all kinds. Before becoming an EMT, I worked in a veterinary emergency hospital and have years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and even exotic animals. I’m happy to help with pet care, light cooking, errands, and household tasks while I’m with your family. I truly enjoy working with kids, bringing a calm, safety-focused presence, and creating a fun, supportive environment. I’d love to connect and see if I’d be a good fit for your family!
