I am currently a freshman in college, and looking for a summer job. I absolutely love children, and have been working with them for as long as I can remember. My mother and aunt owned a daycare for most of my life and I was always helping around there, playing with the children, and learning how to take care of children of all ages. All throughout high school I was part of the teacher cadet program and I went to the elementary school every day and was a student teacher with the kindergarten class there. This past summer I also nannied a seven year old girl, which was probably one of the highlights of my summer because it didn't feel like "working" to me. I have always wanted to work with children, and having another babysitting/nanny job would be perfect for me. I think of it less of a job, Read more and more like creating another friendship with someone, because some of my favorite friends are children I have babysat throughout my life.
