Hi, I'm Avery Allen! I'm a senior at Michigan State University, majoring in Psychology and working toward my Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Childcare has been a core part of my life and has inspired much of my academic and professional path. I’ve spent many summers working as a nanny, where I start each day supporting children with meals, activities, and positive energy. My goal is always to provide motivation, structure, and care that helps kids thrive. I also have experience leading gymnastics day camps, birthday parties, and skill-based children’s classes, where I regularly communicated with families about progress and fit. During a school year, I served as a teaching assistant in a 5th-grade classroom, supporting both academic and behavioral development. I also have hands-on experience working with neurodiverse children, including those on the autism spectrum—an area closely tied to my studies and future goals in behavioral health.
