Hi! I am the eldest of 6 and am Majoring in elementary education. I've volunteered as a summer day camp junior counselor for 2 years before applying for the job as a counselor for another two years. I enjoy spending time and teaching the little ones. I especially enjoy keeping them off of screens unless it's a group movie time, as I find this improves behavior. I have experience with special needs children, as I'm currently in a clinical experience with special needs and have assisted in the care of my four younger cousins with autism. Although not certified, I have been trained in CPR and the Heimlich maneuver. I hope to build a mutual trust between the parents and I as well as the child/children and I.
