Hi I'm a single dad with a special needs son, whom is adhd/autistic and ci, he can't live independently and lives at home with me. We are waterford residents, I am a retired school employee, and a vetted direct hire through community living services, and provide direct care with impaired clients in the CLS program. I have extensive training and real-life experience working with children with disabilities, as well as normal development children. Iam a great teacher an enjoy teaching childern the basic life skills. I lived with and helped raise my niece from birth to age 7, i have two younger sister's. I was in the big brother big sister program for 8 years. I fostered children full time for 7 years and fostered 17 children in that time. 8 children age 14 months to 2, 7 children age 3 to 5 and 3 children age 6 to 9, so yes I've cared for multiples. Plus additional required early childhood development courses for each of these age groups with regular needs and special needs. Additionally child care with family and friends with children in all of these ages. I am very easy going and enjoy getting out side weather permitting, rather than being in the house. I am a master at keeping kids busy, happy and safe no silly or dangerous activities. I am a very detail oriented person. I have worked in childcare since the moment i graduated high school back in 2016. I got a job at Cream of the Crop daycare right away and worked there for about 3 years unfortunately that daycare closed down. After that I started working at Rebbeca’s learning center I began there as an assistant teacher and a few months into the job I got certified lead preschool/toddler/ infant teacher. I am currently employed by the Waterford School district I am working at a High school in the special ed field.
