Plus finished raising my own boys who are now 22 and 24 studying at the university level. My babysitting experience began at age 14, babysitting in Rochester Hills. My childcare education began at Holly Comunitee Ed through a state sponsored childcare program called Summer Kids which I worked at for three summers. I received a Bachelor's of Arts Degree from UM with additional classes at OCC in Criminal Justice and Psychology to work as a caseworker. I have worked in childcare since the moment i graduated high school back in 2016. I got a job at Cream of the Crop daycare right away and worked there for about 3 years unfortunately that daycare closed down. After that I started working at Rebbeca’s learning center I began there as an assistant teacher and a few months into the job I got certified lead preschool/toddler/ infant teacher. I have over 30 years of experience in the childcare field both as a nanny for several families and at two day cares as a head teacher in the infant, toddler, and preschool rooms.  I Love children and enjoy doing crafts, educational activities ( letters, numbers, colors, shapes, workbooks and reading) to help them reach their age appropriate milestones.  I like to also plan and take child on age appropriate, fun and educational outings . I love to play games and read.  I do believe in discipline (mostly time outs) for age 2 and over but also positive reinforcements and encouragement.  I am loving, responsible, and firm.  I like to foster responsibility and self reliance...teaching children to pick up their toys, dress themselves etc... but teach and help them with these abilities at their age level.  I give hugs and praise often.

I’ve been working in a very successful childcare center being an assistant teacher in the infant room. I’ve learned about child development, safe sleep, and much more.
