Hello Parents of awesome kids! I am a Mom of three kids who is completing my clinical MSW (masters of social work) program. In April I will be ending my therapy internship and will be beginning work full-time in the fall as a trauma therapist. I have a 3, 5, and 7 year old. I am interested in earning an extra income with my free-time by opening up my home to babysitting or nannying this summer. We have chickens, a large backyard, a small friendly dog and two cats. We do arts and crafts (I am an artist on the side). We also do yoga and go to the park often. I taught ESL to children for two years and am a very patient person. We are vegetarian and eat well daily. If your scheduling needs work with my family I'd love to watch your kids! I am hoping for Read more only 1 or 2 around the same ages as my children. My 5 year old has ADHD, so I am good at grounding and redirection techniques. I do gentle parenting and we usually talk about emotions and use time outs when children are emotionally dysregulated and need some quiet time. This Spring/Summer we will be spending a lot of time outside playing, doing arts and crafts, baking, taking care of our chickens, and gardening. We'll go to the beach, park, and the children's museum. Sometimes our home gets a little messy (too much fun), but it's safe and toddler proof. Please let me know if you need help with childcare this Spring/Summer and I'll provide a safe, fun, and educational space for your children. I will say, my 7-year-old is a girl and is really hoping for another female playmate. :) If you could drop off your children that may be the easiest option, but I could occasionally pick them up. I'm open to figuring this all out! Hope to meet y'all soon!
