Hello! I'm a 25 year old who just moved back to Michigan from Tennessee. I've been babysitting since I was 14 years old. I love doing hands on activities with children and being outdoors. For me playing and being around kids has always been refreshing. In 2007 I went to Patzun, Guatemala where I helped build a school/church and had fun playing with the orphans and children in the area. Although I could not communicate with the people their in conversation (I speak little to no Spanish) I learned smiles and laughs are universal. At the end of the 12 day trip we held a mock election where I was elected "Biggest Kid" for how much I interacted with the children there. A few years ago I was certified in first aid and CPR. Although the certification has expired I'm not opposed to taking a course like that again, I Read more would just ask that the family requesting such pay for it. While I was in Tennessee I was a nanny to a 6 yr old with autism. He was an angel in every way. I have an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. I'm a very creative individual and I have a huge heart. I love to help when and where I can. If you're looking for someone who will nurture as well as invest time and energy into your kids I'm the sitter for you. If what you want is minimal and someone who will turn the television on for umpteen hours and hand a child an I-pad or Gameboy then I'm probably not the sitter for you.
