Hi! 231 398 8314 j.nehm08@gmail.com I’m Jaina and I’m the oldest sister of four, and the oldest grand daughter of 12 grandchildren. I’m a natural caregiver, love doing arts and crafts, or giving a child needed space. During middle school I helped instruct younger Tia Kwon Doe classes while I pursued a black belt. In high school I took a Career Technical Class through my Community College for education and child development. I mentored in classrooms through out my district and studied child development and psychology. During my senior year I took an emphasis in Special Education. As part of my volunteer service for National Honors Society I watched pre-school children during conferences, and helped entertain a mother’s young children while she went through Chemo. Jenny was an older mom who adopted her two autistic nephews and had a three year old daughter. I would come over on afternoons and Read more hang out with her and her family. Now I’m studying at the Evergreen State College pursuing a career in Cultural Anthropology. I just moved here with my partner Matt from West Michigan. We both work in retail and I’m looking for another supplemental or primary income. I am a capable and friendly person. I remain calm under pressure and have experience with children in both professional and casual settings. And although I have no paid child care experience other than sporadic babysitting gigs, I’ve worked with children as a volunteer for years.
