I’m a mother of 4 adult children and grandmother to one (so far!) adorable grandson. I am retired and have time and love to give! I enjoy volunteering my time and energy. I’ve joined our church youth group on 9 summer work camps, maintain the meditation garden and our church and my favorite volunteer role of all was working with the Beaumont Parenting Program! The program was designed to help first time parents during their first year with their newborn. I led parent support groups, gave tours of the hospital and birthing unit, made hospital visits to introduce the program and also provided telephone support to moms at risk for postpartum issues. I’m hoping I can share my time and energy with families, now, providing care for their children - and providing them with peace of mind that their children will be well cared for.
