Hi! My name is Alivia Scherer, and I bring over five years of paid childcare experience working with children of all ages—from infants to teens—and managing groups of up to five kids at a time. I’ve also spent multiple summers as a camp counselor, where I was responsible for up to 15 children in a cabin for weeks at a time. During that time, I focused on creating a fun, nurturing, and safe environment where kids could thrive, build friendships, and grow in confidence. I’m currently a Dean’s List and Honors student at Northern Michigan University, where I balance academic success with my passion for working with children. As the oldest in a large family, caregiving has been second nature to me for as long as I can remember. That background has shaped my calm, responsible, and compassionate approach to childcare.
