In the past ten years, I've been working as a substitute teacher in the Clarkston Area schools k-12 grades. I watched a two year old girl in Independence twp. Plus finished raising my own boys who are now 22 and 24 studying at the university level. My babysitting experience began at age 14, babysitting in Rochester Hills. My childcare education began at Holly Comunitee Ed through a state sponsored childcare program called Summer Kids which I worked at for three summers. I received a Bachelor's of Arts Degree from UM with additional classes at OCC in Criminal Justice and Psychology to work as a caseworker. I enjoy working with children and hold this responsibility very seriously.

Hi! My name is Alexis I am currently a college student studying psychology. I have hands-on experience working as an assistant caregiver for foster care families, where I developed strong skills in nurturing, supporting, and engaging with children from various backgrounds. On top of that, I have experience babysitting elementary-age kids. In addition to my caregiving experience, I am a certified child tutor, which allows me to assist children with their educational needs in a fun and interactive way. I also have over 100 hours of volunteer experience at the Family Literacy Center, where I worked with children and families to promote learning and literacy development. I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and positive environment for your children, whether helping with homework, engaging in creative activities, or simply offering a caring presence when you need a break. I look forward to the opportunity to work with your family!

Hi I’m Sara! I have a deep passion when it comes to working with kids. I am a Montessori preschool teacher and have been nannying for over a decade. I think each kid has something special, goofy, fun and curious about them which is why I love getting to know and care for each and every one. I value compassion, structure, and creativity and I believe that is reflected in the way I interact with children.

I have been babysitting since I was 14, primarily for friends of the family and relatives, and I can provide references if desired. In addition, I have six years of experience working as a nanny. I enjoy helping others and consider myself reliable, competent, and goal-oriented. I am able to multitask effectively and efficiently when required. I truly love children and enjoy spending time with my young nieces whenever I can. I recently moved to Tennessee from Michigan with my husband and our 3-year-old daughter, and I am excited to continue working with children in my new community!

Hi! I’m Stacie — I grew up in Clarkston and I’m currently a junior at Michigan State studying psychology and cognitive science. I come back home throughout the year, so I’m available for sitting during school breaks. I’ll be in the area December 12–January 10, and then again from early May through mid-August. I’ve worked with kids for several years, including two years in a daycare and long-term sitting for multiple families. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, have experience with children from 6 months to 13 years old, and I’ve also supported neurodivergent kids. I love planning activities, helping with meals and bedtime, and keeping things running smoothly around the house. I’m mainly looking for occasional sitting, but I’m definitely open to something more consistent when I’m home. If you ever need help or want to chat, feel free to reach out — I’m always happy to answer questions or share references!

I’ve been babysitting since I was a pre-teen & I’ve always loved it. I have a son of my own who is 14 months & I also am the oldest out of 9 siblings. I’ve done CPR & first aid many times, the most recent was before my son was born. I’m dye free with my son so I’m good at following whatever you need for your own child. I do share a vehicle with my husband & my son would be with me as well. I know that’s not ideal, but I could really use this opportunity to help my family; so you can help me while I’m helping you!

Hi, my name is Meredith! I love helping out local families in my community by being a sitter, I find joy in being able to work with kids. Empathy and understanding are by far my biggest values. I do have some experience working as an art camp counselor at cub scout day camps. Currently I'm also in school to be a certified nursing assistant and eventually go on to pediatric nursing or being a child life specialist. Because I am in school for a medical related job, I have become certified in quite a few important areas such as CPR, AED, and overall BLS training. I also do of course have first aid training at a more advanced level as well. In my free time I love to cook, hangout with cats, and do makeup in theater at my high school. I am a very creative person and love to express myself through watercolor painting, fun crafts, and theater related activities. I did also want to mention I have an American Red Cross babysitting certification. I can't wait to start helping families! Contact me if you're interested.

Hi, I'm Hanna! I'm looking for a new family to care for after I move to Chicago within the next 2 weeks. I've been nannying now for 7 years and have been with my current family for 2 years. Right now, I'm a nanny/house manager for a lovely family who has 3yo twins, a 5yo, and sometimes their cousin is there who's 2. We enjoy going to parks, splash pads, the zoo, pool, indoor play areas, running through the sprinkler in their backyard, walks with their large dog, afterschool activities, arts and crafts, sensory bins, dance parties, read books, build forts, sort things, fine motor skills focused tasks, and pretend we're dinosaurs while playing hide and seek! Some of the house management tasks I do include grocery shopping, meal prep, basic cleaning, family laundry, running errands, organizational projects, getting rid of outgrown kids' clothes/toys/books, rotating toy bins, deep cleaning/getting gas/maintenance done on their car I drive, packing/unpacking for trips, receiving packages/putting things away, loading/unloading the dishwasher, and more. In addition to nannying for various other families, I've also been an Assistant Teacher at a daycare, and absolutely loved it! There, I took care of the infants and sometimes the toddlers. The room ratio was 1 adult:4 infants/toddlers, so I was definitely busy! My duties included feedings, introducing infants to solids, meal/snack time, diaper changes, soothing them for naps, narrating things throughout the day, listening to music, tummy time, finger painting, potty training the toddlers, play time indoors and outdoors, walks, maintaining a clean and uplifting environment, and sticking to a schedule/filling out daily sheets for each child. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, have a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, am not a smoker, have a reliable car, up-to-date on vaccines, have special needs experience, and recently worked with a physical/speech therapist who came weekly for the twin toddlers. I have experience with ages 3mo-11yo, and all of the jobs I've had have been with multiple children. I'm kind-hearted, reliable, nurturing, trustworthy, loving, responsible, fun, and encouraging. I have such a strong passion for caring for kids, they are truly so special! I applied to an apartment recently in Chicago, so now I just need to secure a job in order to move. I also have a resume/references. I can't wait to continue my nannying journey because so far it's been nothing but amazing and so rewarding! :)
