Hi! :) I am presently a special education/ ELA teacher in the Huron Valley School District. I have worked in special education for six years, and earned my master's degree in Special Education in 2018. Before I moved to Michigan three years ago, I taught a Life Skills class in Lee County, Fl. My students ranged in ability from severely disabled to high functioning. I taught them life skills such as cooking, cleaning, socialization, hygiene, financial responsibility etc. I also oversaw the work program, where our students would work in the community at local businesses, such as the grocery store, laundry mat, and department stores doing jobs that fit the needs of the companies and the needs of the students.
