My name is Raven Hood and I am currently 20 years old and studying criminal justice and psychology at Trine University in Angola Indiana. I graduated from Airport High School in Carleton MI in 2015. I am currently a student athlete at Trine University where I am double majoring as well as a captain and member of the women's volleyball team. I am also currently interning at a domestic violence shelter in Coldwater MI where a majority of my time is spent with the children of the abused victims that enter this shelter. I believe I work very well with children and I have always known that as a career I have wanted to work with children. I plan on pursuing a masters in social work with a specialization in mental health among adults and children. Once I graduate I plan to pursue a career in a hospital or school Read more as a mental health counselor or possibly a career as a case manager for CPS. I believe that my loving and caring qualities as well as my experience with children with trauma based issues and children with disabilities can add a warm, welcoming, helping hand to you and your family.
