Meet Rachael

Hello all! My name is Rachael, though I sometimes go by my nickname Raine! I have been a babysitter for about as long as I can remember, going back from watching my siblings and cousins to work at local churches to employment at daycare and preschool facilities in my hometown. I love working with little ones, though I have some experience with children six and up as well. Most of my time working as a paid childcare employee has been with children about eight months to 3 years, but, again, I have worked with older and younger children as well. I am now a student at Grand Valley State University and looking for babysitting opportunities to supplement my income, and because I miss working with children. I really like playing and reading to the kids, and I am always interested in helping them learn and grow while having fun. I Read more am certified in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens, and I am trying to save up to have a background check to show to clients as well. I am generally comfortable in a home with pets, and can tend to them as well, provided you explain any needs they may have during the time I am there, particularly for any more unusual pets. I am capable of light housework and basic meal prep, should those be necessary. I am a nonsmoker. Thank you for your consideration!
