Hello, my name is Keya, and I am 20 years old! I’m currently a third-year nursing student at the University of Detroit Mercy, and I work as a nurse assistant at Corewell Health Troy on a med-surg floor. I’ve been babysitting since I was 11 years old, and I truly love working with children. My long-term goal is to become a pediatric or NICU nurse, so caring for kids has always been something close to my heart. I am CPR and First Aid certified and also a licensed EKG technician. Families describe me as patient, dependable, attentive, and very hands-on. I love keeping kids engaged through activities, helping with routines, homework, meals, and bedtime, while creating a safe and comfortable environment for them. I’m also very comfortable with pets and flexible with different family needs and schedules. With both my childcare experience and healthcare background, I understand the importance of Read more safety, communication, and providing compassionate care. I always aim to make both parents and children feel comfortable, supported, and cared for!
