Hello, Children are a joy and a pleasure to be around, although they can present some challenges I love their creativity and positivity. As an inspiring childrens book artist I do believe that I truly have a heart to work with children. I am a professional lifeguard (and have been for 5+ years) so I am CPR/AED certified. The Red Cross has a babysitting course that I completed at a younger age. On top of that I have volunteered at Bair Lake Bible Camp since I was 12 years old. I have also been employed there in the past as a senior councilor for ages between K-12th grade. During the course of this job I was required to complete and pass a children's sexual abuse seminar training (that talked about child safety, warning signs of potential danger and other useful information.) Over the course of counseling I have grown to Read more understand and help for children with eating disorders and self harm. I also have experience and understanding with the LGBTQ+ community. As far as teaching goes I was homeschooled K-12 and helped with the schooling of younger homeschooled kids in my area.
