Hello! I'm Emma Holmquist, an experienced and reliable nanny dedicated to creating a nurturing environment for your children. Having recently worked in both nanny positions and at a child care center, I've had the experience of caring for children across all age groups- from infants as young as 6 weeks old to middle schoolers! In my roles as a nanny, I provided care tailored to the unique needs of each family, including cooking a healthy meal, teaching new skills, tidying the house, and providing transportation. At the child care center, I followed a structured routine that included feeding, teaching, outdoor and indoor play, nap time, and engaging activities until pick-up. In the past ten years, I've been working as a substitute teacher in the Clarkston Area schools k-12 grades. I watched a two year old girl in Independence twp. Plus finished raising my own boys who are now 22 and 24 studying at the university level. My babysitting experience began at age 14, babysitting in Rochester Hills. My childcare education began at Holly Comunitee Ed through a state sponsored childcare program called Summer Kids which I worked at for three summers. I received a Bachelor's of Arts Degree from UM with additional classes at OCC in Criminal Justice and Psychology to work as a caseworker. I enjoy working with children and hold this responsibility very seriously.

A bit about me, I spend a lot of my time riding horses and hanging around at home with my husband and our dog. Previously in 2023 I graduated from Wayne State University and just 10 days after graduating, I accepted a new position in Marketing at a local car dealership! In terms of child care, I have around 7+ years of experience helping different families with a handful of different needs. Prior to my new position, I nannied full-time for a private family in Birmingham for close to three years. I helped with grocery errands, getting the youngest to school, getting the kids to bed. Given my new availability, I am really hoping to find a new loving family or two that wants a dependable date night sitter every or every other weekend! My husband and I are starting our nest egg for our honeymoon come September so the pressure is on! We are very fortunate to be visiting Hawaii so we hope to save up enough to do all of the things!

Hi! my name is Mariah and I live in Rochester Hills. I am 24 years old and am a junior at the University Of Michigan. I have my substitute teaching license permit as well as my certified nursing assistant license. My major in school is Health and Human Services and minor is in psychology. I am going to school for medical social work as well as a psych Dr. I love kids and have been babysitting since about 12 years old. I am very involved with youth and have been for some time in varying areas. One area was through my church COGIC Clubs, nursery and Vacation Bible School (VBS). I have volunteered in VBS for about 5 years, COGIC Clubs for 7 years and nursery also 7 years. This brought on a variety of ages, all of which I was very comfortable with. I have worked at a youth day camp every summer for the last 6 years and plan to continue doing so. This camp has a diverse age range and I always enjoy working with and getting to know every individual choosing to come to camp. I am very patient with children which I feel makes a more fun environment and really encourages the child to ask questions and get to know me as well. I am a very good Teacher and love being outdoors. Therefore, taking a child/multiple children to the pool, park, on a walk, playing in the snow or leaves, etc. is a very fun experience for me and the children as well. I am energetic and outgoing so I feel that I can keep up with just about any child fairly well. In short, I just love being around kids. They are awesome and a wonderful blessing to have around.
