Being a baby sitter has made me become much more patient, mature, responsible, and understanding. I first started when my niece was born because it was hard for her mom to find a sitter who was willing and able to do all of her breathing treatments and give her all of her medicine. She was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis a few weeks after she was born. She has to have 3 breathing treatments everyday along with many different medications. I stepped up and started watching her when she was only a few months old. I learned all of her medications and the times I had to give them to her. Ever since I’ve wanted to continue to watch kids because seeing them grow and just so happy, makes me happy.
