Hi I'm Hannah, a recent graduate from college. I have been watching and taking care of children ever since I was a pre-teen. Growing up, I was a regular volunteer for my church's kids' ministry. I would lead the children (1st to 5th grade) with the day's routine and activities. Each week the number of children varied- sometimes there were only 2 and sometimes there were 10. Each summer I volunteered with the summer camp. Leading one specific group of kids around and making sure each were staying on track. From this position I had many at-home babysitting jobs stemming from the parents at the church. I treat young kids more like a friend than a parent- which allows me on their good side, feeling like we're just hanging out and playing. Therefore when they do something bad or won't listen, it feels easier and more natural getting them to Read more follow my suggestion or direction. Unfortunately, I do not have any certifications or professional training- but I am someone who acts fast and remains calm in stressful situations, and feel I can handle a lot. I also live with one pitbull dog and three cats, so pets are simply a plus.
