I am turning 29 years old on May 30th of this year; I am a currently license practical nurse through the state of Michigan working at a nursing home; my license has no restrictions; current CPR cert; I will begin a registered nursing program this fall so I am available until September; I like to jog, Rollerblade, sew and read in my spare time; I was a nanny for a summer in college and have babysat since I was 12 years old up until I graduated nursing school; I have some pediatric nursing experience; my significant other it's a fifth year resident ENT (ear, nose and throat) surgeon and is currently working at Karmanos in Detroit; i rarely see him right now because i work afternoons and he works days, the waitlist for days nursing position is very long; I am looking for a Monday through Friday day time position Read more in effort to match his schedule; schedule is negotiable (can work some evenings, weekends and overnight if needed); I have reliable transportation; willing to complete a background check before official hire; have references that may be contacted in the event of serious interest; I do not like to watch television myself so I usually like to be active with the children I am caring for; my younger sister is a nanny whom I have learned alot from; I am able to mirror the parenting style with exceptions that the cHildreth are held to the behavioral standard to be respectfull to themselves and to others.
