Hello. My name is Shelby, and I am a 23-year-old who loves children and wants children of my own as soon as possible. I have been married since 2011 (with a brief separation period) and have an Associate degree in Business Management. I was working on my Bachelor degree with a minor in Early Childhood Education before my separation, and am now taking a break from school due to financial reasons. I love math, reading, cooking, watching movies, taking long walks/drives in nice weather, and so much more. My goal is to become a stay-at-home mother, to home-school my children, and later, to open a bed-and-breakfast with childcare available for guests. My experience includes serving a year as a babysitter/nanny for a family with three girls (2011-2012), serving as an intern (internship required to complete my Associate degree) at the early learning center located within my church (Spring 2013), serving Read more as an assistant caregiver at an in-home childcare center (Fall 2013), volunteering in church nursery and for vacation bible school, babysitting for family and friends, and customer service experience (Cashier, Front Desk Workstudy, Front/Drive-Thru Staff at Burger King and Tim Horton's, and Newspaper Carrier for the Kalamazoo Gazette). I am a SOCIAL/SOMETIME smoker. I do not smoke constantly throughout the day and when working I DO NOT NEED to take smoke breaks. This is a habit that I only indulge on my personal time, and I live in a NONSMOKING home.
