Unfortunately, makayla worked for us for a couple months. She said more than once what a great fit it was and i thought so too. One day she cancelled, telling me about a sick family member she needed to visit back in Texas. I was more than understanding and was willing to do whatever she needed. I got coverage for her babysitting days. I remained in contact during the time she was supposedly in Texas. Then she stopped answering my texts And had blocked my number. Her babysitting day came, and she was a no show. No explanation, nothing. She ghosted our entire family! The job was difficult, no question. But we deserved some kind of explanation. She was a great a sitter. My kids, especially my 4 yo boy, just adored her. In the end she turned out to be very unprofessional and quite frankly disrespectful of my time.
