I am a professionally trained teacher of grades preschool though 5th who retired early to pursue other interests including working with pets and providing care for my elderly family members who have now passed away. I have been babysitting since I was 13. I worked in an infant room in a day care center after high school and I also occasionally work in the infant room at my church on Sundays during the service. I love pets; especially dogs and cats! I sometimes do private dog training on the side since I am a certified dog trainer. I have an associate degree as a medical assistant. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I wasn't able to pursue that passion for very long. I can explain what happened if you are interested in knowing. I was sitting occasionally for a family with a stay at home mom for over a year, Read more but they recently relocated due to the father being in the military. So I am looking for another family for whom I can provide my expertise as a sitter, educator, pet trainer with a background in medicine. In my spare time I am currently in the process of writing a book, I raise and breed Angelfish and spoil my three kitties!
