Hello, my name is Dawn. I am 56 years young, married & a homemaker. I have a successful, 23 year old son & a wonderful husband. I have been babysitting children of all ages since I was 14 years old, from infants to pretweens, in addition to the experience of raising my own child full time. When he was old enough, neighboring & school friends would come over to our house, at which point I would then become the official babysitter for them. For the last 1-1/2 years, I have been babysitting a beautiful, intelligent 10 y/o girl, M-F every morning before school. I then drop her off at school & wait to make sure she is safely inside before I leave. I will help you in any way I can if the opportunity arises or your little one is napping. I never take my eyes off of my kids. Hi all! My name is Maija and I am I 19 year old babysitter/nanny in Kalamazoo Michigan. I graduated in 2023 from Kalamazoo Central. In October 2023 I was a short term paraprofessional in an autism classroom with children ages 2.5-4.5. I have worked for various families with children ranging in age from 6 months to 12 years. I have experience with special needs as well, please read the section on special needs for more details. I love to do arts and crafts! I also try to incorporate learning into play as much as I can. I have experience with home education as I did online schooling for most of high school through KPS. I have also assisted children with their online education as well as schooling prek-kinder using a curriculum. Currently I don't have my license. Hi! I’m Savannah, a junior political science and psychology major at OU. I'm going to be studying abroad in New Zealand this fall! Meaning I'll be moving to Kalamazoo for a couple months before the move (September-November) and would love to offer some help to those in the area! My passion for childcare began with the care of my little brother, who’s quickly become my best friend and continues to inspire every day. That experience encouraged me to pursue a job in early childhood education as a preschool teacher. While I am no longer one, the skills earned from that are ones I continue to utilize today.
