I love being a sitter because it gives me the chance to build meaningful connections with children and their owners. It’s rewarding to provide peace of mind to children parents while they’re away, knowing their kids are in good hands. I also enjoy the variety it brings meeting children and parents, exploring different homes, and the flexibility that comes with it. It’s a fulfilling way to offer support and care, while also having the opportunity to experience new things. I’ve had a variety of experiences, from caring for infants, toddlers, pre schoolers and teenagers to looking after homes while owners are away. I’m comfortable with all the basics feeding, playing, administering medication if needed, and of course, providing lots of love and attention. I’ve also handled special situations, like looking after kids with specific routines or medical needs. I’m skilled in creating fun and engaging activities that are both educational and entertaining. I’m also trained in child CPR and first aid, so I can handle emergencies with confidence. I’m great at setting routines, keeping kids safe, and offering a positive, nurturing environment. I also make sure to communicate regularly with parents to ensure their kids’ needs are met and they’re comfortable while I’m looking after them.
