Hi my names Brooke, I'm currently going to school at Oakland community college and I've been babysitter for basically my whole life! I've grown up babysitting cousins, and family friends! my first job was at 16 I babysat at a gym, I would watch children as their parents worked out in the same building! In 2020 I babysat for a family of 3 boys ages 5, 7, and 9. I would pick them up from school, take them to sports, help them with homework, and make them meals! Once covid happened they were doing online schools so I would get to their house early before school starts and make sure they had the help they needed to get through the school day. I love being their nanny we were able to grow a very special bond and they trusted me! In 2021 I babysat for a family of 2 girls Read more ages 1 and 3. I would make them meals, clean the house, but mostly just hang out with the girls and help them navigate their likes and dislikes! I loved hanging out with these girls that were so creative and fun! I was pregnant during this job so I had to leave April 2022 to take care of my own little girl! During high school I took a class called "early childhood development," which taught me a lot about different ways kids act and how to help them depending on their behavior of the kid/what works best for them. I have a lot of experience and knowledge with children over the past few years!
