Our organization, Our Father's Family Keeper Ministries provides (among other community services) free child care to young mothers who are in school and/or working and do not have available local support in Vandalia/Cassopolis area. We are currently caring for a 14 month old (have provided child care since she was 3 months old) and a 3 year old (have provided child care since she was approx. 10 months old). There are other children we watch when needed for parents whose primary providers are periodically unavailable. My husband and I are both retired and have previously passed background checks necessary for our involvements in an afterschool tutor/study session which OFFKM sponsors at the Ross Beatty Jr/Sr High School.
