I have over 30 years of experience in the childcare field both as a nanny for several families and at two day cares as a head teacher in the infant, toddler, and preschool rooms. I Love children and enjoy doing crafts, educational activities ( letters, numbers, colors, shapes, workbooks and reading) to help them reach their age appropriate milestones. I like to also plan and take child on age appropriate, fun and educational outings . I love to play games and read. I do believe in discipline (mostly time outs) for age 2 and over but also positive reinforcements and encouragement. I am loving, responsible, and firm. I like to foster responsibility and self reliance...teaching children to pick up their toys, dress themselves etc... but teach and help them with these abilities at their age level. I give hugs and praise often.
